Requirement

  • 4+ years in software QA, with experience in a lead or senior QA role 
  • Proven ability to test planning independently from requirement analysis through release sign-off 
  • Solid understanding of API testing, database validation, log analysis, and integration testing 
  • Familiarity with automation concepts and the ability to recommend the right approach for the team 
  • Strong communicator who can raise risks confidently and work across technical and non-technical teams 
  • Detail-oriented, accountable, and proactive by nature 

Job Description

  • Lead and mentor the QA team, setting standards, reviewing work, and building a culture of quality 
  • Define and own test strategy across Features, Modules, and Releases — including test scope, regression, and smoke testing 
  • Analyze requirements and PRDs to surface gaps, edge cases, and ambiguities before reaching development 
  • Prioritize bugs by severity and business impact, and communicate risks and blockers clearly to stakeholders 
  • Perform root cause analysis on production issues and improve test coverage to prevent recurrence 
  • Conduct API, database, and integration testing as needed 
  • Guide the team toward practical automation approaches suited to the product and context 
  • Produce clear QA status reports, test summaries, and bug summaries for management decision-making 
  • Collaborate effectively with Developers, PMs, and BAs throughout the development cycle
